Raspberry Pi boards are used for home servers, robotics, drone companions and media centres. Here is how to choose.
Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W
Tiny and cheap, with Wi-Fi. Good for lightweight projects, cameras and small drone companion computers.
Raspberry Pi 3 Model B / B+
A reliable entry-level board with 1 GB of RAM. Fine for learning, simple servers and retro gaming.
Raspberry Pi 4 Model B (2, 3, 4 or 8 GB)
Much faster, with USB 3.0 and Gigabit Ethernet. The 4 GB version suits most users; the 8 GB version suits heavier multitasking.
Raspberry Pi 5 (1, 2, 4, 8 or 16 GB)
The fastest of the line. Choose 4 GB or 8 GB for desktop use and projects with computer vision; 16 GB is for demanding workloads.
